Course Overview:

Being a myofunctional therapist allows you to continue honing your specialty while also treating your patients or clients with a whole-body approach holistically. Whether you are a provider in private practice, wishing to open a private practice or continue working in your current practice setting, this introductory myofunctional therapy course will allow you to impact your patients/clients on a whole new level. Learn with us the importance of correct oral rest posture and nasal breathing and be at the forefront of an ever-emerging endeavor!

AHS Myo Business Success Course has a hybrid schedule offering on-demand lectures followed by a LIVE virtual Q and A where we strengthen your understanding and enhance the application of the material. Lectures are released weekly and Q and A are held Mondays from 8-9 pm EST.

Karese Laguerre, RDH, MAS™

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist

Karese is a dental hygiene 2013 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry NJ and received her orofacial myology training from the IAOM in 2017. Karese owns her own private practice, The Myo Spot in New Jersey and is an industry leader in the quest for myofunctional therapy awareness and public education.


Her latest published book, Accomplished, delves into how to sleep better, eliminate burnout, and execute goals.

Brittny Sciarra Murphy, BS, RDH,

COM®, QOM®

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist

Brittny earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2011. She began her orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) journey in 2016. Brittny is the owner of CT Orofacial Myology and an accomplished industry leader. You can find her on her popular podcast, I SPY WITH MYO EYE.


Recently, she was featured on James Nestor's podcast bringing myofunctional therapy to light!
